His background comes from being a CPA with emphasis in business and financial strategies, accounting and tax. He is a Certified Valuation Analyst and has been Accredited in Business Valuation by the American Institute of CPAs.

For the past 12 years, his emphasis has been on business valuations in many different industries for various purposes, expert witness and consulting with business owners on how to transition management and ownership of their business. His experience includes being a member of the boards of private and publicly traded companies, some of which went through an IPO, merger and sale. He also serves on privately-held company Advisory Boards.
